we lost mum, it still feels like yesterday , i feel empty at the moment and still expect her to be there when we visit. Dad is down at my sisters having a well earned break.
I have finally managed to pick up a needle again and it is this that is slowly helping me get through the days.
I bought a Dimensions gold kit, which i think is just perfect. See pictures below, progress is slow i know it is a bigger piece than i would anticipate but i know that it is something i will always cherish. This will be one piece that i anticipate having professionally framed , so i will probably need recommendations nearer the time.
Can't believe Callum and Connor have finished P7 , where does the time go. Monday we had graduation both boys done well . Connor received an award for Excellent citizen and he was well chuffed, couldn't stop smiling for ages. Then we went to gran and papa's to show them their medals and Connors award. Picture overload coming up.
Managed to get out last night, but just round the doors.
Well along the bumpy pavements up and down :) I don't think you appreciate how uneven they are until you are pushing a wheelchair. I got the outleg and maimie got the home run , think we will definitely stick to drumpellier, its flat!!!!!!
Work was constant today , got some good products thought to show tomorrow when i am on the big white birdie down to London.
Off to go walkies.

If anyone has seen it please send it back :) Haven't stitched since before Christmas , and there is so much stuff I want to do. Working full time , I am so tired at night time by the time the boys are in bed
Started walking again last night, had mum in the wheelchair doing our nature walk round Drumpellier Loch with Maimey. Saw ducks, swans and cynets they were so tiny. Might go again tonight before the rain comes
when it's raining go to the cinema. Now when Kyle was a little younger this wasn't easy , he would get bored really quickly. So we decided he was a little older so he should be fine. Now what to see , Nanny McPhee or How to train your dragon.
So of we went to The Vue cinema in Hamilton, only to find out that they were showing How to train your dragon in 3D. The boys had never seen a 3D film so we decided to go to see this
WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW!
From the minute you put the specs on it was awesomw, you jumped when things flew out the screen , you amazed at the detail of seeing each blade of grass and most importantly , I loved that Kyle held my hand for most the film so I could protect him from the falling ash or flying dragons. He sat the whole time , result !
A little late i know but i have just worked out how to download the pictures from the phone lol :)
Starting with me , I got a cat mug and coaster set , flowers, and a cat ornament , can you tell i like cats :)
Here is Tux investigating.
Also got the Lady GaGa CD, quite catchy.
Now for my mum , I hadn't a clue what to get for her this year Christmas , birthday and Mothers day in the space of 3 months. I ended up with a "Natures Angel" lovely ornament , holding a dove. One of those wee cards about mums and guardian angels. It talked about everytime you see a white feather it lets you know your guardian angel is watching over you. So of course had to find a white feather, courtesy of the feather cushions in the couch. :) Do you know how hard it is to get a feather from a cushion when you want one, way harder than when you don't let me tell you. Then finally i baked a cake , Mum is finding foods hard to taste at the moment , so we plumped for carrot and orange cake , with orange drizzle , mmmmmm i have to say it was so moist , even dad tried it!
Jodi Picoult's new book is out , however she has also announced she is coming to Scotland to promote the book. Do I buy the book now , or do i go see her at the Glasgow concert hall and get a signed copy. Decisions Decisions.
She will be at the concert hall at the end of April , but the book is out now aggggghhhh
It has been a busy month , I really should try and post more frequently. I am on a bit of a stitching slump , as i am soo tired at the moment , hoping to do a square for the quilts for breast cancer to get me back on track , here's hoping.
The boys have had a birthday in February , I can't believe they are 11 already, how time flies.
I tried some sultana and carrot muffins this morning which were very nice, now i must work out how to download my pics from phone to pc :)
Will go and read the manual picture to follow hopefully
