A new Finish

Well I finally finished my 2010 tree and have it sitting in the living room , hoping to get the rest of the trees up this weekend.

So here she is in all her glory , framed !!

It has been 13 weeks today since

we lost mum, it still feels like yesterday , i feel empty at the moment and still expect her to be there when we visit. Dad is down at my sisters having a well earned break.

I have finally managed to pick up a needle again and it is this that is slowly helping me get through the days.

I bought a Dimensions gold kit, which i think is just perfect. See pictures below, progress is slow i know it is a bigger piece than i would anticipate but i know that it is something i will always cherish. This will be one piece that i anticipate having professionally framed , so i will probably need recommendations nearer the time.

Curtains!!

Thought i would show you my curtains , I made last weekend. I have loads of fabric and decided that i need to start doing something with it.

After having to buy a new fridge , i thought the kitchen could do with a little brightening up , so out came the sewing machine

Its a little newer than this one lol :)

And i began sewing. I was pleased with the finished results and it detracts from the fact i really should have papered as well :)

Schools out for summer!!!

Can't believe Callum and Connor have finished P7 , where does the time go. Monday we had graduation both boys done well . Connor received an award for Excellent citizen and he was well chuffed, couldn't stop smiling for ages. Then we went to gran and papa's to show them their medals and Connors award. Picture overload coming up.
