Mothers day gifts

A little late i know but i have just worked out how to download the pictures from the phone lol :)

Starting with me , I got a cat mug and coaster set , flowers, and a cat ornament , can you tell i like cats :)

Also got the Lady GaGa CD, quite catchy.

Now for my mum , I hadn't a clue what to get for her this year Christmas , birthday and Mothers day in the space of 3 months. I ended up with a "Natures Angel" lovely ornament , holding a dove. One of those wee cards about mums and guardian angels. It talked about everytime you see a white feather it lets you know your guardian angel is watching over you. So of course had to find a white feather, courtesy of the feather cushions in the couch. :) Do you know how hard it is to get a feather from a cushion when you want one, way harder than when you don't let me tell you. Then finally i baked a cake , Mum is finding foods hard to taste at the moment , so we plumped for carrot and orange cake , with orange drizzle , mmmmmm i have to say it was so moist , even dad tried it!

Maybe i have got this blog thing cracked now, only i don't know what to write now lol :)

I am going to look for patterns today to start my breast cancer quilt square , and hopefully make a start on it today, and get my mojo back for stitching.

Should I or Shouldn't I

Dilemma Dilemma :)

Jodi Picoult's new book is out , however she has also announced she is coming to Scotland to promote the book. Do I buy the book now , or do i go see her at the Glasgow concert hall and get a signed copy. Decisions Decisions.

She will be at the concert hall at the end of April , but the book is out now aggggghhhh

Can I wait , not sure !!!

As we approach the end of february

It has been a busy month , I really should try and post more frequently. I am on a bit of a stitching slump , as i am soo tired at the moment , hoping to do a square for the quilts for breast cancer to get me back on track , here's hoping.

The boys have had a birthday in February , I can't believe they are 11 already, how time flies.

I tried some sultana and carrot muffins this morning which were very nice, now i must work out how to download my pics from phone to pc :)

Will go and read the manual picture to follow hopefully

I can't believe we are over

halfway through January and I have still not posted. On a bit of a stitching slump at the moment so slowly trying to get back into the swing of things.

I am going to sit down and do a list of what i want to do this year and start making a list so i have something to tick off

On the up i have picked up reading again, just finished Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult, another page turner.
